On the 13th of February, our Company Programme Students were given the unique opportunity to step into the world of leadership, shadowing prominent figures across public, private sectors, NGOs, and International Organisations. The Leaders for a Day Programme is not just an observational exercise; it is an immersive experience designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and the pragmatic realities of the working world.

The highlight of the day was the enriching session held at The Malta Chamber, which brought together JA Malta, the distinguished leaders, and the aspiring students for an open dialogue about their experiences. This forum was not only reflective but also forward-looking, allowing participants to share insights, challenges, and learnings from their day in the leadership roles.

Adding a significant value to the day’s agenda was a workshop on Employability and Self-Branding, conducted by our partners, Deloitte Malta. This session was instrumental in equipping our students with the tools and knowledge necessary to navigate the competitive job market. Topics covered included personal branding, effective communication, resume building, and interview skills, all aimed at enhancing the employability of these young talents.

We extend our deepest appreciation to The Malta Chamber for facilitating this essential discussion and to Deloitte for their invaluable contribution to our students’ development. Their expertise and guidance have undoubtedly left a lasting impact on the participants, empowering them to approach their future careers with confidence and a clear sense of direction.

To the entities that supported this initiative, your willingness to invest in the leaders of tomorrow is truly commendable. And to our students, your active participation and eagerness to learn are the keystones of your future success. The Leaders for a Day Programme has laid a foundation for you to build upon, filled with lessons, inspirations, and connections that will serve you well in your journey ahead.

As we look back on this remarkable day, it’s clear that the experiences shared and the knowledge gained have not only enriched the students’ understanding of the professional world but have also ignited a spark within them to pursue their aspirations with determination and integrity. We are excited to see how these bright young minds will leverage this experience to make their mark on the world.
