Social Innovation Challenge

Level 11 | 15–17-year-olds | 8 hours-1 Scholastic Day

350+ Students reached since 2013

The Social Innovation challenge is an opportunity for students from different schools to come together to address specific social challenges and to come up with possible business solutions which would solve such problems.

The Social Innovation Challenge is an intense experience for the students since they have to propose a solution within 6 hours, given access to tools, information and resources. The team members will have to adapt to each other quickly, analyse the social issue at hand and find out how to work together most efficiently to come up with the winning solution.

Students use the Innovation Staircase to explore their solutions and develop their entrepreneurial team. Additionally, we take a good look at the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals to identify issues/problems that need to be addressed. This provides a great starting point for the ideation process.
