Digital Finance Frontiers 2025 – Empowerment Through Technology & Education
Malta’s national conference on digital finance and financial capability
15 October 2025 • Radisson Blu, St Julian’s

The Financial Capability Conference 2025 is not just an event—it’s a call to action. Last year we saw a gathering of over 150 passionate leaders, educators, and change-makers, all united by a single interest: to elevate financial literacy and create a future where everyone has the power to manage their financial well-being. It’s time for us to challenge and change the way we think about money and its potential to improve our lives and wellbeing.

This year’s theme responds to an urgent need: building Digital Financial Literacy—a foundational skill as vital as reading and writing in today’s AI-powered, fast-evolving economy. Backed by the latest OECD 2023 findings, which show significant gaps in Malta’s youth readiness for digital finance, the conference is a catalyst for collaborative, forward-thinking solutions.

An urgent call to equip our educators, financial institutions, and policymakers with tools, trust, and vision—as AI, the Digital Euro, and fintech transform how we manage money. Expect a day of bold ideas, honest conversations, and practical tools. Expect to challenge how we think about money and its role in shaping better lives. This is your opportunity to be at the forefront of change—where innovation meets impact.

Why This Matters?
• Malta’s Digital Education Strategy & DiHubMT are opening doors for innovation in classrooms and public tech-skills.
• Measuring Wellbeing not just GDP: recent announcements show the government is shifting toward indicators that reflect people’s quality of life.
• With the rise of e-Government services, digital payments, and mobile finance apps, maintaining trust, understanding, and inclusion is essential.
