We also want to ensure that our teachers are well equipped and continue their upskilling journey\, beyond the JA programmes.  \nWe would like to invite you to a new initiative Climate-KIC where you will have the opportunity to network\, receive training on new system thinking tools and more! We would like to also take this opportunity to provide you with key information for the upcoming year for the Company Programme. \nMCAST in collaboration with JA Malta Foundation and Transport Malta is thrilled to be running the Young Innovators (YI) Programme for the second consecutive year. It aims to train teachers in strengthening the skills of their students\, aged 12-18\, in climate innovation through systems thinking. \nThe YI programme is open to all educators in secondary schools and colleges across all of Malta and Gozo who are keen to gain new skills and knowledge and empower students to become leaders in living carbon-neutral lives and developing innovative solutions to tackle climate change. \n\nSystems Thinking Teacher/Educator/Mentor Training opening with a networking lunch\n\nDate: 19th September\nTime: 12:00 – 16:00\nVenue: at MCAST where you will be trained by our local coaches on how to use visual tools to develop innovative solutions to local environmental issues. SUMMARY:Skola Sajf Finals
DESCRIPTION:JA has once again partnered with SkolaSajf in order to deliver the 4th edition of our entrepreneurial programme Our Community and the 1st edition of our entrepreneurial programme Economics for Success.\nTouring centres across Malta and Gozo\, JA facilitators together with HSBC volunteers engaged students in a number of fun\, innovative activities\, discussions and creative spaces. Students participating in these activities have learnt the basic concepts of idea formation\, entrepreneurship\, the community\, confidence and presentation skills whilst working in teams to obtain an understanding of the programme objective.\nDuring the Junior Entrepreneurs Final presentation there will be two rounds of presentations with a total of 16 teams presenting their outputs and ideas. Eleven teams who have participated in the Our Community Programme\, and five teams who have participated in the Economics for success programme.  The teams have been selected from across Malta and Gozo\, to present their idea in a presentation event which will be held in person at the Malta Chamber of Commerce and livestreamed directly to the JA Malta Foundation Facebook page. Each team will be asked to carry out a 2-minute-long presentation\, which they will be prepared for the by JA team.
